Metasploit is a powerful framework that covers multiple stages - recon, discovery, vulnerability analysis & exploitation, of a penetration test from a single interface. The tool is open-source, OS agnostic and it contains hundreds of exploits that can be readily used to exploit the vulnerabilities.
